Eric has had a passion for fishing since childhood. For the past 20 years his obsessions has been fly fishing and fly tying. His travels have taken him fishing all over the Midwest, Great Lakes, Ozarks, and Colorado Rockies. He has been a fly casting instructor for over a decade and also enjoys teaching the art of fly tying.

My favorite time on the river is spent with people who are new to the sport, and being there when they catch that first fish on a fly rod. I enjoy the excitement and sense of accomplishment that it brings to them.
Eric has educated fishermen and women on the Arkansas, South Platte, Blue, and Big Thompson rivers in Colorado, the White River in Missouri and Arkansas, and many lakes and ponds in the South Central Kansas area. Eric also has taken people into the backcountry for fly fishing high mountain lakes and streams.
